Pen Station Calligraphy LLC is a fine art calligraphy studio, established by Karen Tennison in January 2019. She is a self-taught calligrapher, specializing in modern pointed-pen calligraphy and hand-lettered writing.

Karen frequently works with wedding couples to create the custom signage and stationary of their dreams. She also collaborates with local wedding coordinators and day-of wedding managers to create an all-around picturesque event.

When she’s not writing, Karen can be found teaching beginner & intermediate calligraphy workshops, performing live jazz in NYC venues, teaching her 9-year-old cat, Tex, new tricks, riding her bike around Central Park, or listening to true-crime podcasts.
